Live In Care Worker

Clover care group limited

Complex Care Worker – High-Level Spinal Injury

Live-In Care | 2 Weeks On / 2 Weeks Off | Female Carers Only

Clover Care Group is looking for an experienced female Complex Care Worker to join a dedicated live-in care package, supporting an adult client with a high-level spinal cord injury and tetraplegia.

This is a rewarding opportunity for a compassionate and confident carer who combines strong clinical skills with a genuine desire to support independence, dignity and quality of life.

The Role

  • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off live-in care
  • Female carers only
  • Support with personal care, dressing and daily living
  • Hoisting, transfers, positioning and repositioning
  • Pressure care and wound management
  • Suprapubic catheter care
  • Ileostomy/stoma care
  • Medication administration
  • Respiratory monitoring and support
  • Safe eating and drinking
  • Choking and aspiration risk management
  • Supporting independence, routines and meaningful activities

Complex Clinical Care

This is a high-complexity care package, so previous complex-care experience is essential.

The client has reduced cough effectiveness and respiratory muscle weakness, increasing the risk of chest infections and respiratory deterioration. There is also a choking and aspiration risk, requiring staff to follow swallowing guidance, supervise appropriately and respond confidently to emergencies.

The role also includes suprapubic catheter and ileostomy care, alongside management of an existing pressure wound and ongoing pressure-injury risk. Staff must be confident with specialist equipment, repositioning, pressure relief and recognising changes that require escalation.

Experience of spinal injury, tetraplegia, respiratory care, catheter care, stoma care and pressure/wound care is highly desirable.

About You & Our Values

At Clover Care Group, we believe great care starts with seeing the person, not just the care needs.

We're looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in complex care
  • Compassionate, patient and respectful
  • Confident with clinical care and specialist equipment
  • Calm and reliable in an emergency
  • Professional, trustworthy and a strong communicator
  • Committed to dignity, choice and independence
  • Comfortable working independently within detailed care plans
  • Positive and able to build a genuine relationship with the client

You'll understand that physical dependency should never mean losing independence or control. You'll support the client at their own pace, involve them in decisions and respect their routines, preferences and choices.

What Clover Care Offers

  • 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off live-in rota
  • Competitive pay
  • Full induction and competency assessment
  • Ongoing training and development
  • Dedicated support from the Clover Care team
  • The opportunity to build a meaningful long-term relationship with the client

Complex-care experience is essential.
