Live-In Carer – Complex Care

Care4ocus is currently recruiting for an experienced and reliable Live-In Carer to join an ongoing complex care package supporting a client in their own home in Eastbourne.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced carer looking for a consistent live-in position within a supportive care team.

The Role

As the Live-In Carer, you will provide ongoing daily support within the client's home, ensuring their care needs are met safely and with dignity.

The wider package also includes:

• Waking Night Carer: 22:00–07:00 (9 hours per night)
• QDS support 7 days per week:
  • Morning call – 60 minutes
  • Lunch – 30 minutes
  • Tea – 45 minutes
  • Later call – 30 minutes

The package is ongoing, with the initial level of support due to be reviewed after approximately 2 weeks at home. The level of support may reduce depending on the client's needs and the outcome of the moving and handling review.

About You

We are looking for a carer who is:

• Experienced in live-in care
• Reliable and committed
• Compassionate and person-centred
• Confident working independently within a client's home
• Able to communicate effectively with the wider care team
• Professional and respectful of the client's dignity and privacy
• Experienced in complex care or supporting individuals with higher levels of care needs
