Loading Shovel Driver – Ufton (CV33)
Location: Ufton, CV33
Hours: Monday – Friday | 07:00 – 17:00
Weekend overtime available
Guaranteed hours available

Simple Recruitment  are currently recruiting for an experienced Loading Shovel Driver to join a leading Waste Management and Composting specialist based in the Ufton area.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced machine operator looking for stable work, guaranteed hours, and long-term opportunities within a growing industry.

The Role:

You will be responsible for operating a loading shovel safely and efficiently across a busy composting and waste processing facility, working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Main Duties:

• Operating a loading shovel safely on site
• Loading collection and arctic vehicles
• Feeding shredders, screeners, tunnels, and processing equipment
• Transporting materials across the facility
• Supporting composting operations
• Carrying out basic maintenance including greasing and cleaning mobile plant
• Following all Health & Safety procedures

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid Wheeled Loading Shovel licence/certificate
• Previous loading shovel experience essential
• Experience within waste, recycling, or composting environments preferred
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Reliable and hardworking attitude
• Able to adapt in a fast-paced environment

Working Hours

• Monday – Friday: 07:00 – 17:00
• 47.5 hours per week
• Saturday: 07:00 – 16:00 (as required)
• Sunday: 08:00 – 16:00 (as required)
