This is an excellent opportunity for teachers who want to build strong relationships with pupils, become part of a school community and provide continuity of learning over an extended placement.
The Role
Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across KS1 and KS2
Follow school schemes of work and lesson plans where provided
Plan and adapt learning activities to meet pupils' needs
Establish positive relationships with pupils and school staff
Maintain effective classroom management and high expectations
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support learning
Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency across the school
Contribute to a positive, inclusive and supportive classroom environment
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
Previous experience working with children in a primary school setting
Ability to teach across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2
Strong classroom management and lesson delivery skills
A reliable, adaptable and committed approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
