Based in London - SW1. Hybrid

Temporary ongoing. Monday - Friday

Day rate: £350 - £400 PAYE

Our client, a prominent player in the Oil & Gas industry, is seeking an experienced LPG Senior Operator to join their dynamic Cargo Operations Department in London. This exciting temporary role offers a full-time position for a 12-month contract, providing a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the management of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Managing the implementation of Liquids Sales and Purchase Agreements with shareholder affiliates, ensuring all contractual obligations are met.
• Liaising with Liquids Buyers to coordinate lifting windows and ensure compliance with all agreements.
• Overseeing the quality of liquids and addressing any operational issues that arise, prioritising safety and reliability.
• Collaborating closely with the Liquids Scheduler to maintain accurate records in the Liquids Master Schedule.
• Assisting the Finance team in invoicing and calculating costs related to demurrage, dead freight, and port fees.
• Ensuring all cargo operations activities are conducted in compliance with internal procedures and standards.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A minimum of 5 years of significant commercial operations experience, preferably within the oil and gas sector.
• Strong contract management, shipping, and commercial operations experience.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience working in joint ventures and a multicultural environment.
• The right to work in the UK.
