Are you a caring, resilient, and dedicated Learning Support Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children and young people with complex needs?

We are currently recruiting Complex Needs Learning Support Assistants to work across a range of SEND schools and specialist provisions in East London. This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive agency with regular work available in schools supporting pupils with a variety of additional needs.

You will be supporting students with complex educational and care needs, helping them to access learning, develop independence, and achieve their individual goals.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND
• Supporting students with Autism (ASC), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), and other complex needs
• Assisting with personal care where required
• Supporting communication, sensory, and emotional regulation strategies
• Building positive relationships with students, staff, and families
• Promoting a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

• Previous experience working with children or adults with SEND, complex needs, or care backgrounds
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism, SLD, PMLD, SEMH, or challenging behaviour is highly desirable
• Comfortable providing personal care when required
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
• Right to work in the UK
