Aspire People are recruiting a Lunchtime Supervisor to support a welcoming primary school in North Manchester from November through to the end of the academic year.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking for consistent part-time work during school hours and who enjoys working with children.
The Role:
* Supervising pupils during lunchtime and outdoor play
* Helping maintain a safe and positive environment
* Supporting children during lunch and social times
* Encouraging positive behaviour and good manners
* Monitoring pupils during indoor and outdoor activities
* Supporting children with minor disagreements and friendship issues
* Ensuring school expectations are followed
* Reporting any concerns to the appropriate member of staff
* Working as part of the wider school team
The Ideal Candidate:
* Previous experience working with children is desirable
* Confident supervising groups of primary-aged children
* Calm, patient and approachable
* Able to manage behaviour positively
* Reliable and punctual
* Strong communication skills
* Committed to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday
* 11:20am - 1:20pm
* 10 hours per week
* Starting November
* Continuing until the end of the academic year
