M&E Storeman – Major Student Accommodation Project – Manchester

£19.00 per hour | 45 Hours per Week | July Start | 2-Year Project

We are currently recruiting an experienced M&E Storeman to join a major student accommodation development in Manchester.

Working for a leading Tier 1 M&E contractor, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the site M&E stores, ensuring materials are received, organised and distributed efficiently to support project delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a prestigious project with an expected duration of up to 2 years.

The Role

• Managing all deliveries into the site M&E stores.

• Receiving, checking and recording incoming materials.

• Organising and maintaining an efficient and well-managed stores area.

• Allocating and issuing materials to site operatives and supervisors.

• Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.

• Liaising with suppliers, site management and project teams.

• Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and materials issued.

• Ensuring the stores remain clean, organised and compliant with site procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience working as an M&E Storeman or in a similar site stores role.

• Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials.

• Experience managing deliveries and allocating materials on construction projects.

• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• Ability to work closely with site management, supervisors and subcontractors.

• CSCS Card Essential.

• Forklift licence advantageous but not essential.
