Machine Assembly / Technical Repair Operative

£12.80 per hour | Weekly Pay | Immediate Start Available

Location: Stansted Area (CM22)
Hours: Monday to Thursday 08:00 - 16:30, Friday 08:00 - 16:00
Contract: Temporary with the opportunity to become permanent

We are currently recruiting for a Machine Assembly / Technical Repair Operative to join a busy Technical Repairs Department. This is an excellent opportunity for a practical, hands-on individual who enjoys repairing, assembling, and troubleshooting equipment.

Working within a dedicated repairs team, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults, carrying out repairs, refurbishing products, and supporting general warehouse operations. An immediate start is available for the right candidate.

• Diagnosing and identifying technical faults
• Repairing and refurbishing products
• Using drills, hand tools, and workshop equipment safely and effectively
• Replacing components such as cables, batteries, and wheels
• Testing refurbished units to ensure they are fully operational
• Recording repairs and returns using a computerised system
• Following assembly instructions and technical specifications
• Supporting general warehouse and stock-related duties
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

• Previous assembly, repair, production, engineering, or warehouse experience would be beneficial
• Comfortable using drills, hand tools, and basic workshop equipment
• Practical, hands-on approach with good attention to detail
• Able to troubleshoot and solve mechanical issues
• Basic computer skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team
• Available to start as soon as possible

Please note: Our client is based near the M11/A120 Roundabout Corridor, therefore own transport is preferable due to location and accessibility.
