The Role

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operative to join the production team on a part-time basis. This is a critical role in the early stages of the garment manufacturing process, ensuring that luxury fabrics are correctly prepared and reinforced before assembly.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Placing materials onto the conveyor belt system for the fusing process.

  • Monitoring the machinery to ensure smooth operation and consistent quality.

  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workstation.

  • Working collaboratively with the wider cutting and sewing teams to meet daily production targets.
What We Are Looking For

No previous experience with fusing machinery is strictly required, as full comprehensive training will be provided. However, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • Excellent attention to detail and a pride in working with premium, luxury materials.

  • Strong hand-eye coordination and the ability to work at a steady, efficient pace.

  • A reliable, punctual work ethic with a positive "can-do" attitude.

  • The ability to work independently using your own initiative, as well as being a supportive team player.

  • Any previous experience in a textiles, manufacturing, factory, or warehouse environment is an advantage, but not essential.
Benefits & Culture

  • Great Work-Life Balance: Sociable part-time hours (9am–3pm, Mon–Thurs) with no Friday or weekend work.

  • Stability: Permanent contract with a thriving, expanding business.

  • Supportive Environment: Comprehensive on-the-job training within a friendly, family-run atmosphere.

  • On-site Parking: Free parking available on-site.

  • Company Pension: Enrolment into the company pension scheme.

  • Casual Dress: Comfortable working attire.
