Machine Operator – Night Shift
Location: Keighley
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 10:00pm – 6:00am
Hours per week: 32 hours
Pay: £15.71 per hour
Contract: Temporary, with potential for permanent employment
Start: Immediate
The Role
We are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Machine Operator to join their team in Keighley on a night shift basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous machine operating experience who is looking for a long-term position, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating machinery safely and efficiently
- Following production procedures and instructions
- Monitoring machinery and reporting any issues
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Meeting production and quality standards
- Carrying out manual handling and heavy lifting as required
- Working effectively as part of a team
About You
The successful candidate will:
- Have previous machine operating experience
- Be comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
- Be reliable, punctual and committed to the role
- Be able to work night shifts Monday to Thursday
- Have a good understanding of workplace health and safety
- Be willing to work in a fast-paced production environment.
