Are you a hands-on maintenance pro looking for a stable role with great pay and benefits? An award-winning property company is seeking a motivated Maintenance & Fabric Operative to keep a busy estate of 250+ apartments in top shape.
What You’ll Do:
- Conduct routine inspections and repairs on doors, windows, walls, ceilings, and floors
- Respond quickly to maintenance requests and emergencies
- Use your skills with wood, metal, plastic, and DIY to keep the property looking great
- Carry out painting, decorating, and safety checks
- Keep detailed records of work performed and materials used
- Work with contractors and offer ideas to improve efficiency
Are You the Right Fit?
- Experience as a handyman or maintenance operative
- Knowledge of safety regulations (COSHH, working at height, risk assessments)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Relevant qualifications (NVQ, City & Guilds or similar)
- Good communication and team player attitude
