Maintenance Electrician

• Mon to Fri, 830AM - 1630PM (can consider earlier start and finish)
• 40 - 42k salary
• Some overtime available
• No call out
• Based on singe site in East Kilbridge, opposite the Hospital

A leading Facilities Managment (FM) provider are looking to recruit a qualified Electrician to join their maintenance contract in East Kilbride, directly opposite the hospital.

In this role you would work as part of a 3 person strong engineering team across the site which is a major Government office facility, where you deliver electrical PPMs and Reactives across the site, while also completing none electrical jobs, spanning mechanical and building fabric.

There will also be training to complete to be come Electrical AP, you would escort sub contractors and complete small project/install works.

This is a fantastic role for an Electrician to develop themselves within building maintenance, with training and overtime available.

Actions will include:

• Responsibility for electrical and mechanical PPM, proactive and reactive works issued through the helpdesk within set time frames so that the customer expectations are
• exceeded on the containment buildings and the associated Effluent Treatment Plant.
• Responsibility for the ETP system maintenance during the planned shutdown periods ensuring the tasks are completed in accordance with the current contract providing
• assurance and all required reports.
• To provide callout response for the client as detailed by the supervisor and out of hours by the shift team.
• To undertake contractor control duties on behalf of the client, including mentoring of contractors and their workmanship, so that the relevant standards are met.
• Issue of Permits to Work.

We need from you:

• Electrical qualifications and good experience plus ability to pass SC clearance
