We are currently recruiting for a Multi skilled engineer with an Electrical bias for an FM company who provide Total FM services Educations sites across the UK but this role is based across sites in Nottingham. The role is working as part of a large maintenance team carrying out reactive and planned maintenance for a well respected and well established company that we have worked with for years. The role is Electrically biased but you will need to be happy getting involved in Mechanical, HVAC, and Plumbing from time to time.

Duties
-
Undertake maintenance within the residences in a safe working environment, assessing all Health and Safety issues before work commences and report any hazards identified to the relevant Manager.

Carry out reactive maintenance in accordance with the Service Level Agreement and provide front line response for all plant and installation work.

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance in accordance with the scheduled works & liaise with specialist sub-contractors.

Maintain accurate records of breakdowns and maintenance repairs, including records for statutory compliance.

Carry out statutory testing including fire alarm testing, emergency lighting tests, ad hoc PAT testing as required and others, as required.

Report any Health and Safety issues relating to the residences ensuring all information is passed to the relevant persons.

Take the lead in electrical stock management (ordering, storage, distribution) ensuring appropriate parts are held and available to meet SLA timescales for repair.

Assist team colleagues in other trades as and when required and assist with team development including cross-trade skills sharing.
What you'll need:
Essential
- C&G part 1 & 2 (Electrical Installation 2360) or recognised equivalent.
- 18th Edition
- Health and Safety Training including knowledge of Risk Assessments and Method Statements.
- Experience with similar maintenance duties including fault diagnosis, rectification.
- Experience in the Electrical aspects of general building PPM schedules.
- Experienced in Electrical Installation work, plus electrical testing and inspection.
- A good understanding of Building Critical and Non Critical Systems.
- Knowledge in CAFM PPM Management System (Concept) via handheld PDA
