Are you an electrically biased Maintenance Engineer looking to join a business that genuinely invests in its people, equipment and engineering function?

We're recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established, high-volume manufacturing site operating state-of-the-art automated production machinery. This is an opportunity to become part of a strong engineering team where you'll play a key role in maintaining production reliability and driving continuous improvement. 

The Role

As a Multi-Skilled Engineer, you'll be responsible for:

  • Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
  • Reactive breakdown maintenance
  • Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
  • PLC fault finding and automation support
  • Mechanical repairs including bearings, gearboxes, chains, belts and conveyors
  • Continuous improvement projects
  • Supporting production to maximise machine uptime

You'll be working on a range of modern, automated manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment. 

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or Maintenance
  • Electrically biased with strong mechanical skills
  • Previous manufacturing, FMCG, packaging or automated production experience
  • PLC fault-finding experience (Siemens, Allen Bradley or similar)
  • Experience working with drives, sensors, motors and control systems
  • A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
