Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for a Maintenance Engineer for a permanent position based with our client in Sheffield

Immediate start available (subject to interview process)

Salary is £37,320.00 per annum (depending on experience)

Job description:

Reporting to our Engineering Manager, you will manage site maintenance, breakdowns, and servicing at our Sheffield production facility.

Key Equipment Experience

• Conveyors
• Pumps
• Extraction equipment
• Forklift trucks

Responsibilities

• Minimise facility downtime via scheduled PPM.
• Maintain accurate site equipment records.
• Fix mechanical plant breakdowns.
• Manage and maintain spare parts stock.
• Coordinate servicing windows with production teams.
• Comply strictly with site health and safety rules.

Required Skills

• MIG welding and fabrication experience (essential).
• Background in Maintenance Engineering roles.
• Proven track record in fault-finding and diagnosis.
• Basic electrical knowledge (highly advantageous).
• Proficiency with standard PC applications.
