About the Role
An integrated property investment company is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their in-house team at a prestigious residential development in Kilburn.
This is a client-direct position, offering the opportunity to work for the building owner rather than through a facilities management company. Based at a luxury development comprising 82 high-end apartments, you'll play a key role in ensuring the building is maintained to the highest standards while delivering an excellent service to residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across the development.
- Undertake general building fabric repairs and maintenance.
- Complete basic plumbing repairs, including taps, toilets and pipework.
- Carry out minor carpentry works, including doors, locks, handles and general repairs.
- Perform painting and decorating as required.
- Complete basic mechanical and electrical maintenance tasks.
- Replace lamps, light fittings and other small electrical components.
- Conduct routine inspections of plant rooms and communal areas.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and the property management team.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and ensure all work complies with Health & Safety legislation.
- Previous experience in residential, commercial, or facilities maintenance.
- Strong all-round maintenance skills, including:
- Basic plumbing
- Carpentry
- Painting & decorating
- Basic mechanical and electrical maintenance
- Good fault-finding and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage a varied workload.
- Salary up to £40,000 per annum.
- Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00.
