Location: King's Cross, London
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:00 – 16:00 or 08:00 – 17:00
Salary: Up to £50,000 (depending on qualifications and experience)

About the Role A leading Facilities Management provider is looking to recruit a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join their team, covering a prestigious commercial portfolio based in King's Cross.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a commercial portfolio.
  • Maintain mechanical building services, ensuring plant operates safely and efficiently.
  • Complete PPM schedules, logbooks, and compliance documentation.
  • Service and maintain a range of mechanical and building services equipment, including:
    • Air Handling Units (AHUs)
    • Fan Coil Units (FCUs)
    • Pumps and motors
    • Heating and cooling systems
    • Plant room equipment
    • Plumbing systems
    • General building services
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults.
  • Liaise professionally with clients and occupants.
  • Ensure all work is completed in line with current Health & Safety regulations and company procedures.
Requirements
  • Level 3 qualification is essential in one of the following:
    • Mechanical Engineering
    • Plumbing
    • HVAC
    • Building Services Engineering
  • Previous experience within commercial building maintenance or facilities management.
  • Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience on mechanical building services.
  • Good communication skills with a professional, client-facing approach.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
