Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Rotherham

Salary: Up to £43,000

Shift: 4 on 4 off - 2 Days, 2 Nights (6am-6pm / 6pm-6am)

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Maintenance Engineer to join a growing, market-leading UK manufacturer. Working across a wide range of automated production machinery, you'll carry out planned and reactive maintenance while fault finding across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

The business is open to engineers who are stronger electrically or mechanically and provides an eight-week training and shadowing programme to develop your knowledge of the site and machinery. You'll also have opportunities to support equipment improvements, new installations and continued investment across the manufacturing facility.

Sector - Manufacturing

• Level 3 Engineering qualification (or equivalent).
• Hands-on engineering experience within manufacturing, industrial maintenance, automotive or a similar environment.
• Electrical or mechanical fault-finding experience.

• Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
• Reactive breakdown maintenance.
• Electrical and mechanical fault finding.
• Motors and servo drives.
• Conveyors and gearboxes.
• Hydraulics and pneumatics.
• Reading electrical and mechanical drawings and schematics.
• Automated production machinery.
• Machinery installations and equipment improvements.
• Strong problem-solving and fault diagnosis skills.

• PLC fault-finding experience.
• Previous experience maintaining automated manufacturing or packaging machinery.

• Salary up to £43,000.
• Overtime available during the company's busy period.
• 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 Days / 2 Nights).
