We are looking for a Multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a busy manufacturing site in Leicester. This is a great opportunity to join a highly automated production site. You’ll be responsible for responding to breakdowns, completing preventative maintenance and supporting ongoing improvements to equipment performance, reliability and efficiency.

The role:
You will be responsible for keeping production equipment operating safely, efficiently and reliably.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding quickly and effectively to breakdowns to minimise production downtime
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM), servicing and repairs
- Supporting the installation and commissioning of new machinery and equipment
- Driving improvements in OEE, machine performance and reliability
- Working closely with Production and other site teams to improve operational standards
- Maintaining accurate maintenance records and documentation
- Supporting audit readiness and compliance requirements
- Identifying inefficiencies and implementing practical improvement solutions
- Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement
About you:
We’re looking for a technically capable and proactive engineer who enjoys working in a fast paced production environment.
- Electrical and/or Mechanical qualifications – City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or above
- Previous experience within an automated production environment
- Experience within FMCG, food manufacturing or brewery environments would be advantageous
- A proactive approach to maintenance and continuous improvement
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to Health & Safety and quality standards
