Maintenance Manager in Dewsbury

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be partnering with a well-established heavy manufacturing company, as they look to recruit a Maintenance Manager in Dewsbury.

Reporting directly into the Factory Manager, the Maintenance Manager will manage a small team and lead on projects to improve manufacturing capability.

Maintenance Manager responsibilities:

• Lead on Continuous improvement across all areas through provision of engineering and technical expertise.
• Help develop and delivery the company, factory and engineering plans to achieve key targets and objectives.
• Lead and manage the engineering team, supporting their development and performance.
• Manage planned preventative maintenance and ensure engineering spares and stock are well controlled.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping across the engineering environment, using 5S principles.
• Use engineering, production and process data to identify improvements and help achieve site targets.

We are looking for:

• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering, ideally within Manufacturing or Construction materials environment.
• Self-motivated with a positive, hands-on approach.
• Previous experience supervising or leading an engineering team.
• Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage priorities and put effective processes in place.
• Ability to identify problems, find practical solutions and delegate tasks effectively.
• Good IT skills with confidence using Microsoft Office and PPM systems.
