Maintenance Operative

Our client is looking for a skilled and reliable Maintenance Operative to provide an effective repairs and maintenance service across their properties in East London. You will be provided a new company van so a clean current license is essential.

Key duties include:

• Carrying out day-to-day handyman and urgent maintenance repairs..
• Liaising with and monitoring external contractors.
• Ordering materials and maintaining accurate work records.
• Identifying and responding to maintenance and safety issues.
• Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and organisational policies.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a high-quality service.

We're looking for someone with:

• Previous maintenance or property handyman repairs experience.
• Good all-round practical skills.
• Knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• A flexible, proactive and team-focused approach.
