Maintenance Planner

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Planner to join one of our Manufacturing clients in Wakefield.

Maintenance Planner

Location: Wakefield

Hours: Monday to Friday (8am-4pm/9am-5pm)

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain and continuously improve the company's CMMS.
• Build and manage equipment hierarchies, asset registers and engineering data.
• Linking spare parts and repair kits to individual assets.
• Organise and catalogue engineering spare parts, ensuring accurate stock information is maintained.
• Archive and standardise maintenance information, drawings and documentation within the CMMS.
• Support the Engineering team by ensuring preventative maintenance schedules are correctly created and managed through the system.
• Work closely with Engineers to understand equipment, maintenance requirements and critical spare parts.
• Improve engineering stores structure and stock accuracy.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the maintenance department.
• Produce reports and analyse maintenance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Assist with the long-term development of maintenance planning processes across the business. What we’re looking for:
• Previous experience within a Maintenance Engineering environment.
• Experience using or administering a CMMS.
• An understanding of planned preventative maintenance (PPM).
• Knowledge of engineering spare parts and stores management.
• Excellent IT and data management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with a methodical approach.
