CBW is currently recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join a leading FM service provider within a high-quality commercial property in West End, Central London. This is an excellent opportunity for a technically strong engineer who is ready to take the next step or an established supervisor looking for greater responsibility within a prominent, fast-paced commercial environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and supporting the on-site engineering team, ensuring consistently high standards of technical performance and service delivery.
- Taking ownership of the day-to-day engineering operation of the building.
- Managing the delivery of PPM and reactive maintenance, ensuring works are completed safely and within agreed timescales.
- Remaining hands-on where required, supporting engineers with fault finding, maintenance and technical issues.
- Acting as a key point of contact for the client and building stakeholders, providing technical updates and maintaining strong working relationships.
- Managing specialist subcontractors from attendance through to completion, including reviewing reports and progressing remedial works.
- Maintaining strong standards of statutory compliance, health & safety and site documentation.
- Identifying, scoping and producing quotations for additional works and small projects.
- Monitoring outstanding works and ensuring actions are followed through to completion.
- Supporting the continued reliability and performance of the building's mechanical and electrical systems.
Monday to Friday – 08:00am to 17:00pm
What We're Looking For
- NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Previous experience working within commercial Facilities Management / building services.
- Supervisory, Lead Engineer or senior engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of PPM, reactive maintenance and statutory compliance.
- Experience managing engineers, specialist subcontractors, quotations and remedial works.
- Confident and professional client-facing skills.
- Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills.
- A proactive approach with the ability to take ownership of the day-to-day running of a busy commercial building.
