Maintenance Team Leader

Elevation Recruitment Group are recruiting for a Maintenance Team Leader (electrical bias) to join one of our Manufacturing clients in Wakefield.

Maintenance Team Leader (Electrical Bias) 

Location: Wakefield

Hours:

• 5 on 5 off (8 hour days)

Salary: up to £55,000

Job Responsibilities:

• Leading a team of maintenance engineers
• Full management of staff on shift 
• Responsible for shift handovers, allocating work and supporting the engineers
• Planning and allocating daily work, ensuring resources are used effectively
• Supporting with the development of planned maintenance schedules
• Ensure all maintenance work is carried out safely and in line with health and safety procedures
• Issue and manage permits for employees and contractors
• Plan and manage maintenance workloads, including contractor activity on site

• Minimum recognised Level 5 NVQ qualification.
• Received management training
• Experience with IOSH, NEBOSH
• Experience in a more corporate setting
• Previous experience leading or supervising engineers
• Strong mechanical and electrical maintenance knowledge
