Maintenance Technician

This is a hands-on, day shift role, working Monday to Friday, focused on ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of site equipment while supporting continuous improvement across the business.
This opportunity would suit a proactive maintenance professional who enjoys fault-finding, preventative maintenance, and being a key part of a busy production environment.
Core Duties:
- Carrying out planned preventative maintenance across site equipment and machinery
- Diagnosing faults and completing repairs to minimise downtime
- Conducting regular site walk-arounds to identify potential issues and improvement opportunities
- Taking ownership of maintenance schedules, prioritising workloads, and communicating plans with colleagues
- Supporting production teams with maintenance-related activities and technical guidance
- Monitoring spare parts, consumables, and workshop standards
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensuring compliance with health, safety, and hygiene requirements across the site
- Maintenance experience within a manufacturing environment
- Mechanical or electrical engineering qualifications, or currently working towards them
- Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Excellent time management and the ability to prioritise workloads effectively
- Fabrication skills would be advantageous
- Positive, approachable, and committed to continuous improvement
