Are you a Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician with a mechanical or plumbing background looking for a stable, long-term role on a prestigious commercial site? Do you want to join a supportive engineering team where you'll work on a wide range of building services equipment in a varied and hands-on position?

On offer is an excellent opportunity, carrying out planned preventative and reactive maintenance.
Work for a well-established organisation where you'll be responsible for maintaining the reliability and performance of a variety of mechanical and building services systems. You'll work alongside experienced engineers, respond to maintenance issues, complete planned maintenance schedules, liaise with specialist contractors, and help ensure the site operates safely and efficiently.

The day-to-day of this role includes planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding, servicing heating and ventilation systems, pumps, fan coil units, air handling units, plumbing systems, hot and cold water services, updating maintenance records, and participating in an out-of-hours on-call rota.

The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or plumbing maintenance background, experience working on commercial building services equipment, and hold a City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent engineering qualification. Experience within facilities management, hotels, hospitals or commercial buildings would be advantageous.

• Multi Skilled Maintenance Technician (Mechanical / Plumbing)
• Planned preventative and reactive maintenance
• Commercial building services and mechanical systems
• Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week
• On-call rota and overtime available
• Site-based

The person:

• Mechanical or plumbing maintenance background
• City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent qualification
• Experience with commercial building services
• Good fault-finding and maintenance skills
• Based in or near Birmingham
