Management Accountant

Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a fast-growing, family-run business in Lincoln to recruit a Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team.
This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant or experienced part-qualified/finalist to take on a varied role within a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting financial performance, improving processes and providing meaningful insight to support business growth.
The Role:
- Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
- Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting
- Providing variance analysis and financial insight to support decision-making
- Analysing and managing costs, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and profitability
- Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock valuation/reporting
- Managing month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
- Supporting strong financial controls and compliance
- Assisting with VAT returns and other financial requirements
- Supporting improvements to financial systems and processes
- Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the wider business
- CIMA/ACCA qualification or be at a later stage of your studies
- Strong stock/inventory management experience
- Experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment would be advantageous
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced SME environment
- A proactive approach and willingness to contribute to process improvements
