Management Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a successful and expanding manufacturing and retail business in North Lincolnshire as they look to bring a new Management Accountant into the team. The role will report into the Head of Management Reporting and will work as part of a team of 9, 

The purpose of the role is to deliver timely and accurate operational financial data to the business as well as to provide detailed financial analysis to aid strategic decision making for the business.

Duties will include: - 

• Preparation of weekly Management Accounts
• Weekly sales reconciliation
• Salaries and commission calculations and reconciliation
• Variance analysis to budget/forecast/prior year
• Provide commentary to the business to support accounts schedules
• Production of periodic KPIs and reporting packs
• Completion of accurate and timely Balance sheet reconciliations
• Responsible for fixed asset register
• Responsible for inter company reconciliation
• Support preparation of VAT & CIS reconciliations and returns
• Ensure compliance with relevant accounting policies/standards and that company policies are followed
• Support preparation of year-end company and consolidated group statutory accounts
• Preparation of audit lead schedules and liaison with auditors
• Ad-hoc management and statutory reporting as required

To be successful you will have the following skills and experiences: - 

• Qualified or part qualified accountant
• Previous relevant financial experience 
• Excellent attention to detail, quality and accuracy
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Ability to clearly communicate in a professional manner
• Excellent interpersonal skills
