Location: Beaconsfield
Salary: £50,000–£55,000 + car allowance
Hours: Monday to Thursday 9.00am–5.30pm, Friday 9.00am–4.30pm, 1 hour lunch
Benefits: Car allowance

We’re looking for a Management Accountant, ideally ACA qualified, to join a well-established business based at their Head Office in Beaconsfield.

This would suit someone with previous management accounts experience who is looking to develop their career further within a commercial, in-house environment. Candidates currently working within accountancy practice who are keen to make their first move into industry would also be welcomed.

Previous housebuilding experience is not essential.

Key Responsibilities of the Management Accountant:

• Prepare monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports.
• Review balance sheet accounts, accruals, prepayments and reconciliations.
• Produce P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting.
• Assist with annual budgets, forecasting and variance analysis.
• Prepare statutory accounts and support the year-end audit process.
• Assist with corporation tax information and financial compliance.
• Prepare and monitor short-term cashflow forecasts.
• Analyse financial information and provide meaningful reporting to senior management.
• Support the Financial Controller with ad hoc financial projects and reporting.

Key Requirements of the Management Accountant:

• Ideally ACA qualified.
• Previous management accounts experience.
• Candidates moving from practice into an in-house role will be considered.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, reconciliations, budgeting and forecasting.
• Good analytical and Excel skills.
• Organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines.
• Confident communicating with both finance and non-finance colleagues.
• Housebuilding or property experience would be useful but is not essential.
• Must be happy working 5 days per week in the Beaconsfield office and live within a reasonable commuting distance.
