Management Accountant in Hailsham, East Sussex

An experienced Management Accountant is required on an interim basis to support the production of monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliations. The role will involve partnering with stakeholders across the business, analysing financial performance, and helping ensure accurate and timely financial reporting during a busy period.

Production of monthly management accounts and supporting financial reports.

Preparation of budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis.

Balance sheet reconciliations and review of month-end processes.

Analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends and risks.

Business partnering with budget holders and operational stakeholders.

Assisting with cash flow forecasting and financial planning activities.

Supporting year-end audit preparation and providing required documentation.

Maintaining financial controls and ensuring compliance with internal procedures.

Investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies and queries.

Providing ad hoc financial analysis and support to the finance leadership team.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have:

• A strong background in accounting and finance.
• Immediately Available
• Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members

Job Offer

• Equivalent to £40,000 per annum.
• Temporary contract based in Hailsham
• 25 days of holiday.
