Semi Senior in Banbury

Our client in Oxfordshire is seeking a dedicated Permanent Semi Senior to join their dynamic team. This role involves managing and preparing limited company accounts and ensuring accurate submission of tax returns. The ideal candidate will have solid experience in handling limited company accounts, with a strong understanding of tax return processes. You will be responsible for supporting senior team members, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations. Your responsibilities as a semi senior will include

• Preparation of Limited company accounts
• Preparation of Corporation Tax computations for review
• Preparation of personal tax returns
• Planning and delivery of audit assignments
• Supervise and mentor junior staff
• Manage client communication in an effective manner
• Monitor your assignment budgets pro-actively

About You

You will be part-qualified ACCA / ICAEW with experience of working within practice as a semi senior.  You will be self-driven, results orientated and with a positive outlook. 

As well as a desire to learn and develop yourself, you will be interested in supporting our trainees with their training and development.  You must have good communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to take accurate and well-structured notes.  You will have strong IT skills, ideally with a working knowledge of Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, and CCH but must also be competent in both Word and Excel.
