Search are supporting the recruitment of a Management Accountant to join a growing business in Morayshire. This is a highly visible role that combines management accounting, financial analysis and business partnering, offering the opportunity to work closely with operational leaders and influence decision-making across the organisation.

You'll play a key role in delivering insightful financial reporting, supporting budgets and forecasts, and providing analysis that helps drive performance and efficiency. This position would suit a commercially minded accountant who enjoys translating numbers into meaningful business insight.

Your responsibilities will include:
* Preparing monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts
* Analysing financial performance, variances and key cost drivers, providing meaningful commentary and recommendations
* Producing KPI reports, financial dashboards and trend analysis for management teams
* Supporting statutory reporting and wider finance compliance activities
* Leading the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and reforecasts
* Developing financial models to support planning, scenario analysis and business decisions
* Monitoring budget performance and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs
* Conducting profitability, margin and cost analysis across business activities
* Partnering with operational stakeholders to provide financial insight and challenge
* Supporting business cases, project evaluations and investment decisions

Skills and experience that will benefit your application:
* Qualified (ACCA, CIMA, ICAS etc), Part-Qualified or Qualified by Experience Accountant
* Previous experience in management accounting or similar role
* Demonstrable understanding of budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
* Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with financial models
* Experience using accounting and ERP systems
* Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non-finance stakeholders
* Commercial mindset with a proactive approach to continuous improvement
