Contract Type: 1x Permanent and 1x 12 Month FTC, Full Time, 35 hours

Salary: £48,691 to £53,725 per annum (London weighted salary) dependant on experience

Grade: 9

Reporting Office: London, Stratford

Persona: Agile/hybrid working- office based 20-40% (3-4 days working from home)

As Managing Agent Contract Manager is at the heart of this, you'll be the person who holds external managing agents and superior landlords to account, ensuring every pound of service charge delivers value for money, every contract stands up to scrutiny, and every resident receives the standard of service they deserve.

This isn't just another management role, it's a role with real influence, high visibility, and tangible impact and you will be the trusted expert to protect the interests of L&Q , our residents and uphold regulatory compliance.

Your impact in the role:
  • Ensuring fairness & compliance validating and challenging service charges, making sure costs meet lease and legislative requirements.
  • Driving accountability holding managing agents and landlords to account for the quality and value of services delivered.
  • Championing residents resolving disputes, challenging poor performance, and ensuring transparency.
What you'll bring:
  • Proven expertise in leasehold block management, ideally across large, multi-tenure or complex estates.
  • Strong legal and regulatory knowledge, including the Landlord & Tenant Act 1985, Commonhold & Leasehold Reform Act 2002, and Leasehold & Freehold Reform Act 2024.
  • Confidence in challenging service charges, enforcing compliance, and supporting tribunal cases.
  • Professional credibility ideally with TPI or RICS (or equivalent experience).
  • Excellent stakeholder and negotiation skills, able to hold external partners accountable at senior levels.
  • The ability to thrive in a strategic role where law, compliance, and resident outcomes collide.
