We are working with a leading Social Housing Regeneration Contractor to recruit an experienced Managing Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. Based their Hatfield head office, you'll oversee the commercial performance of a major project or portfolio of projects across London and the South East.

Projects are a mix of high-profile refurbishment, regeneration and new-build projects across the South East.

This is a senior role where you'll take responsibility for maximising profitability, managing commercial and contractual risk, ensuring accurate financial reporting and providing strong commercial leadership across the business.



Managing Quantity Surveyor

  • Lead the commercial management of a major project or portfolio of projects
  • Maximise profitability and manage commercial and contractual risk
  • Ensure accurate forecasting and financial reporting
  • Support the Regional Board in identifying and mitigating commercial risks
  • Manage key contractual matters, including JCT, NEC and PPC contracts
  • Build strong relationships with clients, contractors and internal teams
  • Promote high standards of commercial performance and SHEQ compliance


Managing Quantity Surveyor Experience

  • Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent qualification
  • Significant experience in a senior Quantity Surveying role
  • Strong main contractor commercial experience
  • Experience with JCT, NEC and/or PPC contracts
  • Excellent commercial, numerical, negotiation and communication skills
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Full UK driving licence
