Mazco Recruitment is recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering company in Redhill for an experienced Manual Cylindrical Grinder.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy and stable engineering business producing high-precision components for a range of industries. The successful candidate will have strong experience operating manual Jones & Shipman cylindrical grinding machines and be confident working to tight tolerances.

The Role

• Setting and operating manual Jones & Shipman cylindrical grinding machines.
• Grinding precision components to tight tolerances.
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
• Inspecting finished components using measuring equipment.
• Maintaining high quality standards throughout production.
• Working safely and keeping the work area clean and organised.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Manual Cylindrical Grinder.
• Experience operating Jones & Shipman grinding machines is essential.
• Ability to work to fine tolerances.
• Confident reading engineering drawings.
• Excellent attention to detail and quality.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic.
