Elevation Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced manual turning machinist to join a busy engineering environment, working on large components to high standards of precision and quality. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong manual machining experience.
Job Title: Manual Lathe Machinist
Location: Rotherham, South Yorkshire
Shift Pattern: 3 shifts – mornings, afternoons and nights
Salary: £41,969.00
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate manual lathe machines to machine large components.
- Work from engineering drawings and specifications.
- Produce work to required tolerances and quality standards.
- Inspect finished components for accuracy and quality.
- Maintain safe working practices at all times.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Manual Lathe Machinist.
- Experience machining large components.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Webster Bennett experience preferred.
- Willingness to work mornings, afternoons and nights.
