The Role
We are looking for an experienced Manual Machinist / Toolmaker to join our small, skilled team on a part-time basis (2-3 days per week).
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a traditional engineering environment, producing bespoke tooling and components to high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating manual milling machines, manual lathes, and surface grinders
- Working from engineering drawings to produce precision parts and tools
- Occasional use of Hurco CNC milling machines (experience beneficial but not essential)
- Ensuring accuracy, quality, and safe working practices
- Assisting with general workshop duties as needed

- Experienced in manual machining and toolmaking
- Punctual, reliable, and self-motivated
- Keen and enthusiastic with a good eye for detail
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
