As a Manufacturing Services Leader GCAP you will report to the Vice President Manufacturing Services - to ensure the organisation's objectives and goals are delivered.
You will take responsibility for Defining and implementing the Manufacturing Services strategy in a new secure aerospace facility on the Bristol site. You will support projects throughout the facility design and construction phases, progressing to reliable daily operations. This role will involve recruiting a team to deliver benchmark-setting asset care in a secure environment.
What you will be doing:
- Working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders to help shape and define the Equipment Management strategy for a brand-new facility. E.g. Maintenance Planning, Statutory compliance, Managing Service Providers and Reliability studies.
- Work with Capability Acquisition teams to understand the equipment and machinery requirements. Be part of the down-selection process to ensure the equipment will be safe and capable for operations.
- Building a maintenance team to deliver high levels of asset availability, reliability, and legislative compliance
- Leading the population of the Computerised Maintenance Management System, building a critical spare parts inventory and finalising service level agreements
Position qualifications:
- NVQ 4/5
- Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in manufacturing / engineering environments and the associated plant & equipment.
- Proven track record in leading a maintenance team
- Ability to use CMMS to track and improve maintenance key performance indicators.
Preferred requirements:
- Process Safety Knowledge
- Understanding and experience of Reliability engineering principles.
- NEBOSH certificate
This role will require you to hold a Developed Vetting (DV). To start, you will require a minimum Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don't currently already have this in place.
