Marketing Executive

Prestige Talent Partners Ltd

Business Development & Marketing Executive
Location: Bury
Sector: Law

PART-TIME ROLE — Flexible on hours and days | Salary equivalent to £32k FTE (pro-rata)

The Role

A well-established, multi-site law firm is looking for a Business Development & Marketing Executive to support their Director of Business Development and Marketing in delivering a BD-led growth strategy, while taking ownership of day-to-day marketing activity.

This is a part-time position with flexibility on working hours and days — a great fit for someone balancing other commitments while still wanting a meaningful, varied role. Salary is the pro-rata equivalent of a £32,000 full-time salary.

You'll focus on identifying, developing and converting opportunities across existing clients, referrers, intermediaries and target prospects — using marketing, content, events and digital activity to build visibility and strengthen the firm's profile in priority markets. Some regional travel is expected between sites and to local events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support BD plans across teams and service lines, and manage pipeline/opportunities via CRM (HubSpot)
  • Grow relationships with existing clients, referrers and intermediaries through targeted follow-up and campaigns
  • Research target markets, sectors and competitors to inform BD activity and pitch prep
  • Work closely with Directors and fee earners to capture opportunities and ensure follow-through
  • Coordinate networking, sector events and business forums, tracking outcomes
  • Own day-to-day marketing delivery: campaigns, client comms, website, social media, newsletters, client alerts
  • Plan and coordinate content that turns legal and sector insight into client-friendly material
  • Plan and deliver client/referrer/prospect events with clear objectives and follow-up
  • Help develop the CRM system — data quality, segmentation, tracking, reporting
  • Coordinate external agencies (PR, SEO, design) to keep output consistent and brand-aligned
  • Track and report on BD/marketing performance and pipeline movement
  • Oversight of corporate charitable activity across offices

What We're Looking For

Essential:

  • Experience in business development, client development, sales support or marketing — ideally in legal or another relationship-led professional services environment
  • Understanding of how BD supports client acquisition, retention and revenue growth
  • CRM experience (contacts, segmentation, activity tracking, campaigns)
  • Hands-on marketing delivery experience: content, campaigns, social, email, website, events
  • Strong relationship-building skills across Directors, fee earners, clients, referrers and agencies
  • Excellent communication, copywriting and organisational skills
  • Able to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively and work independently
  • Experience working part-time or managing a broad workload with clear prioritisation

Desirable:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in business, marketing or communications
  • Knowledge of digital marketing, content marketing, email campaigns and social media
  • Full driving licence

What's Offered

  • Pension, death in service and private medical insurance
  • Employee Assistance Programme and enhanced family leave policies
  • Legal services and conveyancing fee benefits
  • Career progression and professional development opportunities in a supportive, inclusive environment
