TeacherActive are currently recruiting for a Maths SEND Specialist Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming 2-form entry primary school in East London.
The school is looking for a confident, experienced TA who can support pupils with SEND needs while helping them develop their Maths skills and confidence.
The Role:- Maths-focused support across KS1/KS2
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs
- 1:1 and small-group interventions
- Helping pupils access the Maths curriculum
- Supporting behaviour, engagement and confidence
- Working closely with the class teacher and SEND team
- Previous experience supporting Maths in a primary setting
- Strong understanding of SEND
- Experience working 1:1 and in small groups
- Confident managing challenging behaviour
- Patient, supportive and adaptable
- Enhanced DBS or willing to obtain one
Location: East London
