- Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 pa, DOE
- Job Type: Full time, permanent
- Location: Eastbourne
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Diagnosing mechanical faults and identifying the cause of issues
- Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Using diagnostic equipment and mechanical tools safely and effectively
- Carrying out repairs to a high standard and within agreed timescales
- Maintaining accurate records of work completed
- Ensuring all work is carried out in line with Health & Safety requirements
- Keeping the workshop and working areas clean and organised
Skills & Experience Required
- Previous experience working as a Mechanic or in a similar mechanical role
- Strong mechanical knowledge and practical hands-on skills
- Ability to diagnose and resolve mechanical faults
- Experience carrying out servicing, maintenance and repairs
- Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety procedures
