The Mechanical Assembler is responsible for assembling components and sub-assemblies using hand and power tools to create mechanical parts and products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Fitting parts and sub-assemblies together
- Reading and interpreting drawings, diagrams, and other technical documents
- Performing maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment
- Assembling mechanical components and sub-assemblies to produce complete products
- Using hand tools and light machinery to assemble components
Job Requirements:
- Experience in mechanical assembly
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and diagrams
- Proficient in using hand tools
- Familiar with quality control and inspection processes
- Understanding of Health and Safety protocols
