Salary: €120,000–€130,000 + Accommodation + Transport + Rotation + Living Cost p/m

We are looking for an experienced Mechanical Commissioning Manager to join a major Data Centre project in Sines, Portugal.

This is a senior role responsible for leading the Mechanical Commissioning team, managing the commissioning programme, coordinating vendors and ensuring all systems are successfully tested, commissioned and handed over.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the Mechanical Commissioning team.
  • Manage the commissioning programme, milestones and deadlines.
  • Coordinate commissioning activities with construction, QA/QC, project and client teams.
  • Manage vendor commissioning activities, including FAT/FWT where required.
  • Manage CFCI and OFCI vendor commissioning scopes.
  • Attend daily and weekly commissioning meetings.
  • Prepare commissioning progress and technical reports.
  • Manage commissioning documentation, test scripts and compliance statements.
  • Coordinate with QA/QC and project teams to achieve commissioning sign-off.
  • Monitor progress against programme and ensure key milestones are achieved.
  • Manage the review and approval of commissioning documentation.
  • Drive successful commissioning, handover and project closeout.
  • Maintain the highest standards of Health & Safety and Quality.

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering degree or relevant technical qualification.
  • 7+ years' experience in a similar commissioning role.
  • Strong experience on Data Centre / Mission Critical projects.
  • Experience managing Mechanical Commissioning teams.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, testing and commissioning.
  • Experience managing vendors, subcontractors and client stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of commissioning programmes and documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organisation and problem-solving skills.
