Mechanical Design Engineer - Aviation Test Facilities

Design and deliver aero‑engine test facilities from concept through to build and commissioning.

Own 2D/3D design (Inventor), produce BOMs, drawings, specs, and support manufacture, installation, and site delivery. Work across mechanical systems (fuel, cooling, air, hydraulics) with exposure to structural and electro‑mechanical elements.

Operate in an ISO9001 environment, ensuring compliance (BS8888, CE/ATEX where relevant). Interface with suppliers, project managers, and clients-contributing to costing, proposals, and technical scopes.

Profile:

• 8+ years mechanical design experience
• Strong Inventor + GD&T
• Experience across full project lifecycle
• Background in complex systems / industrial environments
