We're recruiting for a Mechanical Shift Technician to join the engineering team at one of the City's flagship commercial office developments. The Site

Based at one of London's premier commercial office buildings, you'll help maintain seven floors of high-quality, multi-tenanted office space. The landlord retains responsibility for all major plant, allowing the engineering team to focus on delivering exceptional planned and reactive maintenance across the building and providing a first-class service to tenants.

You'll be joining a close-knit team of eight engineers working collaboratively to maintain the building to the highest standards.

Your duties will include:

• Planned and reactive mechanical maintenance
• Basic maintenance on pumps, motors, valves, pipework and HVAC equipment
• General building services fault finding and repairs
• Water hygiene tasks and compliance checks
• Supporting statutory compliance and maintenance records
• Working closely with the wider engineering team to ensure smooth operation of the building

What You'll Need

• Mechanical qualifications (City & Guilds, NVQ, Apprenticeship or equivalent)
• Previous experience within commercial building services or facilities maintenance
• Good understanding of mechanical building services systems
• Legionella / Water Hygiene experience or qualification is highly desirable
• Strong fault-finding and maintenance skills
• Ability to work well within a shift engineering team
• Positive, proactive approach with good attention to detail
