Mechanical Fitter Required – Weybridge, Surrey

We are currently recruiting experienced Mechanical Fitters for a long-term mechanical installation package on a major data centre project in Weybridge, Surrey.

Location: Weybridge, Surrey
Rate: £28.00–£29.00 per hour
Duration: Long-term work
Hours: Full-time

Duties:

• Installation and assembly of mechanical plant and equipment within a data centre environment.
• Installation of pumps, valves, AHUs, FCUs, pipework supports, brackets, and associated mechanical services.
• Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and specifications.
• Carrying out mechanical fit-out works to a high standard.
• Assisting with testing, commissioning, and system handovers where required.
• Maintaining strict adherence to site health and safety requirements.

Requirements:

• Valid CSCS Skilled Worker Card (Blue or Gold preferred).
• Relevant NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering Services, Engineering Maintenance, Mechanical Fitting, or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter on commercial, industrial, pharmaceutical, or data centre projects.
• Ability to read and work from technical and mechanical drawings.
• Own tools and full PPE.

Preferred:

• IPAF 3a/3b certification.
• PASMA certification.
• Previous experience working on data centre projects.
• Knowledge of mechanical plant installation and commissioning processes.
• SSSTS qualification for candidates with supervisory experience.
