Location: Gloucester (Fully Onsite)
Salary: £30,000
Hours: Monday - Friday

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and reliable Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing business based in Gloucester (fully onsite).

This is a great opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter with 1-2 years' hands-on experience within a machinery, manufacturing or engineering environment who is looking to develop their skills and build a long-term career.

You'll join a supportive engineering team where full training will be provided, giving you the opportunity to expand your technical knowledge and progress within the business.

As a Mechanical Fitter, you'll be responsible for assembling mechanical components and machinery to a high standard, ensuring quality, accuracy and safety throughout the build process.

• Assemble mechanical components and machinery using engineering drawings and work instructions.

• Use a range of hand and basic power tools safely and effectively.

• Carry out mechanical fitting and assembly tasks to a high standard.

• Complete basic quality checks throughout the assembly process.

• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

• Follow all Health & Safety procedures and workshop best practices.

• Work closely with the engineering team to ensure projects are completed on time.

• 1-2 years' experience working within a manufacturing, machinery or engineering environment.

• Experience using hand tools and carrying out mechanical assembly work.

• Basic understanding of mechanical fitting principles.

• Good practical skills with strong attention to detail.

• Basic Health & Safety knowledge within a workshop or manufacturing environment.

• A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• £30,000 salary.

• Monday to Friday working hours.

• Fully onsite role based in Gloucester.
