We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join a major construction project in Skelton, North Yorkshire, overseeing the mechanical installation works on a new primary school development.
This is an excellent opportunity to secure long-term work on a well-established project, managing mechanical trades and ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervising mechanical installation activities on site
- Coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
- Monitoring health & safety compliance
- Ensuring works are carried out in line with programme requirements
- Liaising with site management, clients, and other trades
- Conducting quality inspections and ensuring high standards of workmanship
- Managing site paperwork and progress reporting
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial or public sector construction projects
- Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installations
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- Valid CSCS card
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to drive programme and quality standards on site
