We are recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee a short-term mechanical modification project in Central London.

The project involves mechanical works within an existing services, predominantly consisting of ductwork and plumbing modifications.

This is a relatively small project with a straightforward scope. The main requirement is for someone reliable and experienced who can take responsibility for the day-to-day site operation, manage the subcontractors and ensure all site documentation and Health & Safety requirements are maintained.

You will be the main site presence throughout the works, overseeing the mechanical subcontractors and acting as the day-to-day point of contact for the client's site team.

You will have regular support from the Project Management and Operations teams, who will carry out site visits throughout the project and be available whenever required.

• Oversee mechanical subcontractors carrying out ductwork and plumbing modifications

• Manage the day-to-day running of the site

• Ensure works are completed safely, correctly and to programme

• Liaise with the client's on-site team

• Manage Health & Safety requirements and site paperwork

• Review and manage RAMS

• Carry out site inductions and toolbox talks where required

• Monitor progress and provide regular updates to the Project Manager

• Coordinate labour, deliveries and materials

• Maintain accurate site records and documentation

• Monitor quality and ensure works are completed to specification

• Manage any site issues and escalate where required

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Supervisor, Site Supervisor or similar

• Mechanical Building Services background

• Experience managing subcontractors within a live commercial environment

• Comfortable dealing directly with clients and site teams

• Good understanding of Health & Safety procedures and site documentation

• Ability to manage RAMS and general site paperwork

• Valid CSCS card

• £280-£320 per day
